1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the DesiMacros mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Medical and Health Disclaimer

DesiMacros provides nutritional calculations, portion guidance, and calorie recommendations based on mathematical estimates and standard nutritional databases.

Not Medical Advice: The Service is intended solely for personal informational and educational purposes. It is not intended to replace professional medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or medical nutritional therapy.
Assumption of Risk: Nutritional requirements vary greatly by individual biology, health conditions, medications, and pregnancy. You acknowledge that any reliance on recommendations or nutritional data provided by the Service is solely at your own risk.
Discontinue Use if Unwell: If you experience faintness, extreme fatigue, dizziness, or adverse health symptoms while following a calorie or macronutrient plan, discontinue use immediately and seek professional medical attention.

3. Accounts and Security

To access the full features of DesiMacros, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Maintain the confidentiality of your password and credentials.
Notify us immediately at support@desimacros.app if you discover unauthorized access or a security breach involving your account.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

If you purchase a premium subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings or Google Play Subscriptions menu.
Refunds: All purchases and refund requests are managed directly by Apple or Google under their respective store refund policies.

5. Nutritional Data Accuracy

While we make every effort to verify recipes, local ingredients, supermarket barcodes, and street foods with authentic culinary and lab data:

Cooked foods vary widely depending on oil quantity, cuts of meat, grain variations, and kitchen preparation styles.
DesiMacros makes no guarantee that any nutritional value or calorie figure is exact down to the single calorie or gram.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, graphics, branding, logos, mascot designs, user interfaces, and databases in DesiMacros are the exclusive intellectual property of DesiMacros and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DesiMacros and its founders, developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, health complications, or personal injury arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.
